MFS 600 MK-12

The MFS 600 MK-12 is the entry point to the TIMAGRI field range: a 600-litre tractor-mounted boom sprayer built for vegetable blocks, seedbeds and smaller field crops where a compact, easily manoeuvred machine earns its keep. Hooked to the three-point hitch it goes where a trailed sprayer can't — short rows, small camps, tight corners.

Under the polyethylene tank sits the same professional plumbing as the bigger machines: an Annovi Reverberi AR 135 BP diaphragm pump, a UCM 4 four-section control unit, and a 12-metre mechanical boom carrying ARAG triple nozzle bodies at 50 cm spacing. The result is even application at working speed — the same dose on the first row and the last.

The Annovi Reverberi AR 135 BP is a 550 rpm PTO-driven diaphragm pump with three BlueFlex semi-hydraulic diaphragms. It delivers up to 132 litres per minute at a maximum 20 bar — comfortable headroom to feed the full boom at working pressure while keeping the tank agitated.

The AR UCM 4 gives you a master shut-off, glycerine-filled pressure gauge and four section valves, each with anti-drip return suction — close half the boom on a headland without changing the pressure on the rest. A self-cleaning 50-mesh line filter sits ahead of the nozzles, so a dirty dam refill doesn't end the day.

The MK boom folds manually and carries ARAG triple nozzle bodies at 50 cm spacing — swap between flat-fan, air-induction and hollow-cone tips in seconds by rotating the body, no tools. Sprung boom ends shrug off the fence pole you didn't see.

The 600-litre chemical-resistant polyethylene tank keeps the full weight within reach of common utility tractors, with internal agitation fed by the pump's spare capacity and a lockable, hinged lid with basket filter for clean filling.

Questions

MFS 600 MK-12 — asked and answered

What tractor do I need for the MFS 600 MK-12?

The AR 135 BP pump needs only about 5 kW (6.8 hp) at the PTO, so the limiting factor is lift capacity and stability with a full 600 L tank on the three-point hitch. Most utility tractors handle it comfortably — send us your tractor model and we'll confirm before you order.

Which crops is the MFS 600 MK-12 suited to?

It's at home in vegetables, seedbeds, small grains and pasture. If you farm something else, tell us the row spacing and canopy — we'll confirm fit or point you to the right model.

Are spare parts available in South Africa?

Yes. Pump diaphragms and seals, control unit parts, nozzle bodies and tips are stocked at our Oudtshoorn workshop. Email abie@timagri.com or WhatsApp a photo of the part — most items ship same week.

Is the MFS 600 MK-12 set up before delivery?

Every TIMAGRI sprayer is commissioned on your farm: nozzles matched to your rows and target rate, pressure verified across all sections, and the operator walked through the controls before the first tank goes out.

Tell us your rows. We'll spec the sprayer.

Crop, row spacing, tractor horsepower — that's all we need to quote the right configuration, usually within one working day.
