MFS 1000 Semi ADK-16

The MFS 1000 Semi ADK-16 tops the mounted range: a full 1 000 litres on the three-point hitch behind a 16-metre hydraulic ADK boom. At 200 L/ha that's five hectares per fill and a third fewer passes than a 12-metre machine — mounted-sprayer convenience at nearly trailed-sprayer output.

The working parts are shared with the rest of the MFS family — AR 135 BP diaphragm pump, UCM 4 four-section control, ARAG triple nozzle bodies at 50 cm spacing — so spares and operating habits carry over. Hydraulic boom lift is standard; at this width, keeping the boom parallel to the ground from the seat is what protects the evenness you bought the width for.

Built around the work

16 m ADK boom — a third more per pass

Sixteen metres at 50 cm spacing puts more than thirty ARAG triple nozzle bodies to work per pass. Combined with the 1 000-litre tank, that's five hectares per fill — fewer tramlines, fewer refills, earlier finishes.

1 000 L — the biggest mounted tank we build

A third more capacity than the 800-litre models with the same shared platform. If your tractor lifts it comfortably, it's the most ground a TIMAGRI mounted sprayer can cover between fills.

Hydraulic lift as standard

At 16 metres, a degree of tilt is a 14 cm height error at the boom tip. Seat-controlled hydraulic lift keeps the boom at target height as the land changes — the wide boom stays an advantage instead of becoming a liability.

AR 135 BP pump — 132 L/min at 20 bar

The Annovi Reverberi AR 135 BP is a 550 rpm PTO-driven diaphragm pump with three BlueFlex semi-hydraulic diaphragms. It delivers up to 132 litres per minute at a maximum 20 bar — comfortable headroom to feed the full boom at working pressure while keeping the tank agitated.

UCM 4 control unit with self-cleaning filter

The AR UCM 4 gives you a master shut-off, glycerine-filled pressure gauge and four section valves, each with anti-drip return suction — close half the boom on a headland without changing the pressure on the rest. A self-cleaning 50-mesh line filter sits ahead of the nozzles, so a dirty dam refill doesn't end the day.

Questions

MFS 1000 Semi ADK-16 — asked and answered

What tractor do I need for the MFS 1000 Semi ADK-16?

This is the heaviest machine in the mounted range — a full tank plus the 16 m boom needs genuine lift capacity and front ballast. Send us your tractor model; if the numbers are marginal, the TFS trailed range is the honest answer.

MFS 800 Semi ADK-16 or MFS 1000?

Same boom, same pump, same control — the difference is 200 litres and the tractor to lift it. If your lift capacity clears it, the 1000 buys you an extra hectare between refills.

Are spare parts available in South Africa?

Yes. Pump diaphragms and seals, control unit parts, nozzle bodies and tips are stocked at our Oudtshoorn workshop. Email abie@timagri.com or WhatsApp a photo of the part — most items ship same week.

Is the MFS 800 Semi ADK-16 set up before delivery?

Every TIMAGRI sprayer is commissioned on your farm: nozzles matched to your rows and target rate, pressure verified across all sections, and the operator walked through the controls before the first tank goes out.

Tell us your rows. We'll spec the sprayer.

Crop, row spacing, tractor horsepower — that's all we need to quote the right configuration, usually within one working day.
