TFS 3500

The TFS 3500 is the flagship of the trailed range: three and a half thousand litres behind a 24, 27 or 30-metre parallelogram boom, covering up to 31 hectares an hour. One fill is roughly seventeen hectares at 200 L/ha — a full morning in the rows without a trip to the fill point.

Width only pays if the boom rides steady. The TFS 3500 carries its boom on a pendulum-type central suspension with shock absorbers and springs, each wing damped independently — so the boom stays level over ruts at working speed. Lift is by central hydraulic cylinder with a hydraulic damper, controlled from an electronic switchbox in the cab. Behind it all, an Annovi Reverberi AR 250 BP diaphragm pump and three hydraulic agitators keep the mix moving to the bottom of the tank.

Built around the work

24–30 m parallelogram boom, pendulum suspension

The boom rides on a pendulum-type central suspension with shock absorbers and springs — each wing damped independently. Over ruts and turns the boom stays parallel to the crop, which is what keeps a 30-metre width spraying evenly at working speed.

Tank size sets the rhythm of a spraying day: up to 31 hectares an hour, with a 350 L rinse tank and 15 L hand-wash tank plumbed in for end-of-block cleaning. Three hydraulic agitators keep suspensions uniform to the last litres.

The Annovi Reverberi AR 250 BP semi-hydraulic diaphragm pump feeds a full 30-metre nozzle set at working pressure with agitation flow to spare, at 540 rpm PTO — the same serviceable AR platform as the rest of the range, parts stocked in Oudtshoorn.

A central hydraulic cylinder with hydraulic damper raises the boom smoothly from an electronic switchbox in the cab. Track width adjusts from 1 400 to 2 100 mm to match your beds; 820 mm of clearance under the axle protects tall crops.

Questions

TFS 3500 — asked and answered

Which boom width should I choose?

Match the boom to your tramline system: 24, 27 and 30 m options are available. If you're setting up new tramlines, tell us your planter and row widths — we'll recommend the width that divides cleanly into your beds.

How much tractor does the TFS 3500 need?

Dry weight is 2 450 kg and operating weight around 3 865 kg, so drawbar rating and brakes matter more than lift. Transport is rated to 16 km/h. Send us your tractor model and terrain — we'll confirm the match.

Are spare parts available in South Africa?

Yes. Pump diaphragms and seals, control unit parts, nozzle bodies and tips are stocked at our Oudtshoorn workshop. Email abie@timagri.com or WhatsApp a photo of the part — most items ship same week.

Is the TFS 2000 Semi ADK-16 set up before delivery?

Every TIMAGRI sprayer is commissioned on your farm: nozzles matched to your rows and target rate, pressure verified across all sections, and the operator walked through the controls before the first tank goes out.

Tell us your rows. We'll spec the sprayer.

Crop, row spacing, tractor horsepower — that's all we need to quote the right configuration, usually within one working day.
