The TFS 2000 Semi ADK-16 is the machine in our field photographs: two thousand litres behind a steering drawbar, covering strawberry beds outside Franschhoek row after row. It's the TIMAGRI answer for operations where a mounted tank means spending half the day at the fill point — at 200 L/ha, one fill covers ten hectares.
Trailed capacity usually costs manoeuvrability; the steering drawbar buys it back. The sprayer tracks the tractor through headland turns instead of cutting the corner, which on bedded crops is the difference between turning at the row end and driving over your crop. A 5-way control box runs the 16-metre hydraulic ADK boom from the seat.
The chemical-resistant polyethylene tank carries a full morning's spraying, with pump-fed agitation keeping suspensions mixed from first row to last. A system-rinse provision flushes lines and tank at the end of the block.
On headland turns the drawbar steers the sprayer into the tractor's path, so the wheels follow the tramline instead of cutting across beds. Tighter turns, no crop damage, and a machine that behaves in camps a trailed sprayer of this size normally shouldn't.
The heavy-duty ADK boom lifts and folds hydraulically from a 5-way control box at the seat — lift, fold left, fold right independently. ARAG triple nozzle bodies at 50 cm spacing carry your choice of tips.
A PTO-driven Annovi Reverberi diaphragm pump feeds the full 16 m boom at working pressure with agitation to spare — the same serviceable AR platform as the rest of the range, with diaphragms and seals stocked in Oudtshoorn.

Being trailed, lift capacity isn't the constraint — drawbar rating and brakes are. A mid-range utility tractor tows and powers it comfortably; the pump itself draws modest PTO power. Send us your tractor model and terrain and we'll confirm.
